PREREQUISITES:

LegStar Eclipse plugins require Eclipse version 3.2.1 and above.

Any previous version of the LegStar Eclipse plugins must be uninstalled before installing this version.

Prior to using the legStar Eclipse Plugins, the core LegStar product must have been installed and search PATH set to include the LegStar installation bin folder.

The LegStar product can be downloaded from here.

INSTALLING/UNINSTALLING:

1. Ensure that the core LegStar product has been installed and that the folder holding native libraries has been added to the search PATH.
2. Within Eclipse, create a remote site using:

     Help-->Software Updates-->Find and Install-->Search for new features-->New Remote site

   Have the URL point to http://www.legsem.com/legstar/eclipse/update and select all the features.

1. Once installation is complete, restart Eclipse and check that the LegStar plugins show up in:

     Help-->About Eclipse SDK-->Plug-in details

2. From within Eclipse, setup your preferences:

     Window-->Preferences...-->LegStar

3. To uninstall, use:

     Help-->Software Updates-->Manage Configurations.

   then right-click on the feature you wish to uninstall.
